Free Eggs!

So, about a month ago Apollo had a Deerling join up with him. Said Deerling has finally convinced his Sentret to make some eggs. Said eggs are free, or whatever your character insists on giving him, but can only be delivered by PC. Apollo doesn't know what moves any of them come with, since he wasn't expecting to have to deal with eggs.

But of course I can never play characters that make things easy, so there's a minor complication; Apollo wants to make sure the babies aren't mistreated, so he'll be asking everyone who's interested "What are Pokémon to you?". He's looking for "friends", "traveling partners", or some other phrase that shows respect and equality. "Tools", "followers", or "monsters that fight cool battles" are right out. If he's not sure about the answer he'll have one of his Pokémon ask the character's Pokémon if they're fine with how they're being treated. So if your character can give an answer he likes (or can get their Pokémon to lie along with them), everything's good!

Now that Apollo's done making this harder for his mun, on to the eggs!

You know, I don't know that Geddoe would particularly ask for an egg, but he might reply to ask if Apollo figured out his shelter situation, and I would be terribly amused if this resulted in him getting an egg anyway... XD

How would he answer that question and would he like a deer or a squirrel...thing?

Well considering he named his electrike after the person who's probably currently his closest companion in canon... XD Probably some variation of "companion" or "partner", really, because he's pretty big on the whole personal freedom/independence thing. And idk, he'd probably shrug and take whatever you give him or something.

What would you like him to offer, then? Once it evolves, Sentret can learn 26 of the TM and HM moves you can normally get in Route, including 5 of the HMs (Cut, Surf, Strength, Whirlpool, and Rock Smash). Deerling evolve into something he can ride. Your choice.

I could run with either, to be honest, Geddoe's pretty flexible like that. :|a Let's go with deerling though, since I already have ideas for what he could name it. XD

He'd be more than happy to take care of all the eggs and all the babies... even though he can only carry six with him and he's going to hate putting any of them in the PC...

Putting Rin down for everything no one else takes. Which there will likely be some of, since Sentret aren't exactly rare Pokémon.

Not like this wasn't inevitable anyways. He keeps them all out 24/7. Except for the Golett he's getting. It's shy.

Mostly that their family. Seeing as he has to look out for them, odd habits, and hobbies.

He likes them alot more than his real family at times.

...he might have to ask her Pokémon what they think of her. How would they respond if he does? I imagine the response from the Rocket starter would be interesting.

Glad to have accidentally helped! Yeah, Apollo can speak with plants and animals Pokémon, though only if he's close, since it's telepathy, which is why he needed Spearow to translate. I think. It's not clear what he's actually doing in canon. He could just be understanding animal calls really well, but since he has a line about a tree telling him stories and he later uses telekinesis, I figured "telepathy" was a reasonable explanation.

Yeah. I hate guessing for stuff like this, but Aquarion has a bad habit of not clearly defining characters' powers. The version of him in the TV series is even worse for that (knows, plays that version at digital_dive). This at least I can feel confident in.
